-I love that people seem more cheery and kind right now. If only that could last the whole year.
-We are about due for another snowfall. It’s starting to get mushy and brown and melting way too fast. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas.-Today is my friend Carly's birthday. We were best friends in elementary and then she moved away. But I still always remember her birthday for some reason. Random.
-Is it really December 10th already? I wish the Christmas season was longer. There are too many wonderful Christmas things to do. Our stack of Christmas movies to be watched is still mile high. There is still a half a pan of fudge to be eaten. And all those festive activities? We’ll have to squeeze them in somehow. 2 of them will come this weekend on date number 5 and 6.
-I survived being home alone while Brandon was on his 2nd business trip. That just sounds so grown up. Are we really old enough to be going on business trips? I have to admit that the first few hours of being home alone were fun. I popped in White Christmas and ate a whole bag of popcorn. {Insert gasp here} But after that, it just got lonely. I had to attend my work’s fancy Christmas dinner solo and a big empty bed doesn’t stay as warm when he’s not around. I’m excited to have him back. And he looks excited to be back too.
Welcome Home B! Glad you survived without him Mel!
