The Twenty-Six Club
It's official. I am part of the 26 club and I can already tell its going to be good. Brandon surprised me the whole day with lots of fun things to celebrate my new membership. It started off with a surprise breakfast in the fridge. Brandon had to go to work early. Since he knows how much I love sleeping in, he left it in the fridge for when I woke up. (I'm talking about the muffins, not the pickles :)
I enjoyed a lazy day off by working out, reading lots of emails, facebook messages, and birthday cards. I was spoiled with all the kind messages!

Then he took me to the the Mandarin, my favorite Chinese restaurant. I got sung to and Brandon gave me a super awesome coupon book. That means more adventures this year...
The last surprise of the day was having mud pie with some of my family. Did I ever tell you that I have sparklers on my cake instead of candles? Yeah, it's super fun.
B had also packed all of our stuff for a giant sleepover and party on Saturday with J+K+fam and Marley. Fun day. I like being 26.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day! I think I'll be requesting sparklers on my next bday cake, but they're a little harder to come by in Feb! ;)
