christmas in july

Sarah and I have been wanting to make nativity advent countdowns (similar to one we had growing up) for a year now, so we decided to make a night out of it and do a "Christmas In July" party with all of our sisters while everyone was in town.

I put up a few decorations to make it feel Christmasy, we listened to Christmas tunes, turned on White Christmas, and had a festive spread of appetizers: a bread pot fondue, frozen hot chocolate with candy canes, party pinwheels, a veggie Christmas tree, turtle pretzels, and paradise popcorn.

We laughed. We stayed up way too late. We burned our fingers too many times on the hot glue gun. I just love my sisters.
