We apparently were so tired the 2nd day (maybe due to jet lag or something) that we accidentally slept in until 12:00. On the schedule was a trip to Versailles. We weren't sure if we had missed our chance to thoroughly enjoy it due to our late start, but we decided to take the 40 minute train ride anyway. We are so glad we did. It turned out to be one of our highlights.
Sunny day. Beautiful gardens. Over-the-top palace. No lines. Relaxing.
What more could we ask for?
Since the last post was a wordy one, I'll stop writing and let the the pictures do the talking. After all, there are a lot of them.
Looks like so much fun. I have good memories of Paris - it is fun to see your pictures of the same places. And you look so classy, you really travel in style. We look forward to reading more of your adventures
