Thankful

Thanksgiving has always been Brandon's favorite holiday for the right reasons. For me, on the other hand, Thanksgiving has always been about these traditions that go along with it:

A family football game in the morning.
More turkey, mashed potatoes, rolls, 12-layered jello, and pie that I can ever eat.
A long, long afternoon nap.
A 2nd meal of every type of pie I can think of.
Watching movies and playing games with the people that matter most.

Although I'll be excited for all of that and our first trip to Idaho Falls, Thanksgiving has taken on an entire new meaning to me.

I've been very humbled lately and that humbling has made me grateful for things I've taken for granted. For family night, we made the Thankful Turkeys.

This year, I'm especially grateful for:
  • Life!
  • Understanding and compassionate families
  • My "superstar" husband who seems to pick up my slack all. the. time.
  • The Book of Mormon.
  • True friends.
  • My Savior, Jesus Christ
  • Things that keep me warm
  • Good memories
