Blog Book

We got an early Christmas present in the mail. Our blog book came!

Gone are the days of scrapbooking for my family. Since we are good about keeping a blog, we've decided to use that as our family journal of sorts (although we do keep a written one with all the nitty gritty details that we spare you from hearing). I had tried using Blurb to create a blog book, but quite honestly, it felt as if I was creating something from scratch. I eventually gave up and put that project on the back burner.

Then I heard about Blog2Print. I checked it out and had our blog made into a book in about 15 minutes.

Here are my 2 bits (and I'm not getting paid to say this):

The good:
  • Super easy and fast to create. All you have to do is type in your blog address, choose which posts you want to include, and voila~ you've got yourself a book.
  • Layout does not get messed up. You can choose the option to have your pictures and text printed exactly as it is on your blog

  • Good price? I haven't done much comparing, but it seems reasonable. After the $24.95 base price (for hardcover), each additional sheet is only 35 cents.

  • Limited editing options. Many things are chosen for you which makes it very simple.
The bad:
  • No discount on duplicate copies. I think other sites do this.

  • Limited editing options.
All in all, I'm happy with our first book and I'll definitely be getting another one.

Have you tried making a blog book before? Which sites do you like?
