Merry Christmas!
xoxo, M+B
‘Twas the year of 2010
And all through the Sunday house
There were spiders and bugs, and eek! even a mouse;
The year started off with a move from P-town
To a Holladay apartment to cut the commute-time down.
They made lots of new friends and even got a calling
They teach the 4 year olds the gospel and try to keep them from bawling.
Melissa got a new job at Overstock.com
For her, working part time is really “da bomb!”
She stays nice and busy with that and her Guest Books,
Bargain shopping, crafting, and learning to be a great cook.
In May, a sweet job fell into Brandon’s lap
He manages IT for a company that makes bottles and caps.
You’ll often find him on the basketball court
Or building websites of various sort.
He built and grew a pretty sweet garden;
And made 136 spudnuts that were rated a ten.
Together they raced a Half Marathon and 10k,
They loved going to the concert of Michael Buble.
Their trips to the mountains and Idaho were a blast
Although the summer months went by way too fast.
After saving lots of their pennies and dimes,
They were able to take what they call, “The Trip of a Lifetime.”
To Paris, Germany, Switzerland, Prague and Russia they did go
To visit the people and places that helped them to grow.
They hope you’ve also had a wonderful year
Full of lots of happy things and memories so dear.
And with that they will say this poem’s end is in sight
“Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!”
Love, Brandon and Melissa Sunday
