Thursday night felt a lot like Christmas Eve. I was so excited and anxious to see our baby s (we need a good nickname) at the ultrasound that I stayed up until 1 am cleaning, mopping the floor, packing away summer clothes (and those that don't fit anymore) and chatting the night away with Brandon. I'm sure he appreciated it since for the last few months I haven't been able to make it past 10:00.
We were nervous that they might ruin the surprise and tell us what we are having, but luckily they told us when not to look and we promised each other we wouldn't peek.
I have to be a little honest in saying that everything looked like jibberish at first, but once we could see the spine, heart, brain, feet, hands and profile, it was pretty awesome. He/she is growing right along schedule and as far as we can tell so far, everything looks great. Such a relief! It seems a lot more real now that we've been able to get a sneak peek. And I was right, all those little things I thought were kicks actually were. Now, I feel them much more often.
You're preggo! Congrats! That's so exciting!
