I wish Aberdeen sold "I {heart} Aberdeen shirts" because that is exactly how I feel about it. I grew up spending summers and falls on my grandpa's farm in Aberdeen, Idaho. All of the family got together for a few days for my grandpa's funeral up there. It was so fun to be up there again! The town is so tiny, but it takes up a huge place in my heart. Some of my favorite childhood memories from that town including: riding horses, being in the Aberdeen Days parade, swimming at the Boat Dock, perusing the town dump, getting penny candy at Wallace Drug, swimming in the canals, harvesting potatoes, and trying to dodge the fiesty dogs on runs.
Our trip would not be complete without a stop at Wallace Drug for penny candies. It's tradition! And even though they didn't have any "I {heart} Aberdeen" shirts, I was able to come away with an Aberdeen Days t-shirt. Boo-ya!
