I need to add one more thing to yesterday's post. Brandon came home from work and surprised me with flowers and European chocolate--my favorite! He said he woke up with the thought that he should get me flowers. (Yesterday also happened to be our 56th month anniversary.) Although we don't always celebrate each month, we try to acknowledge the 23rd.
The sweetest part is that he didn't realize what yesterday was until after he brought home the flowers. His intent was for anniversary, but it was a sweet tender mercy to have my husband do a special thing on a day like yesterday.
