first we picked them, then we painted them

I'm so glad we were able to squeeze in a trip to the pumpkin patch this year. And it was even more fun going with cousins. We all picked out a pumpkin, including one for our dinner in a pumpkin, took a hay ride, and the kids loved playing in the corn and on the tractors.

A few days later, we painted them! We've never painted them before, but seeing how much fun Blake had, we might just have to do it again. (Although I do love the smell of a candle burning inside a pumpkin.)

 

Now Halloween can come!
