christmas day

Christmas morning was very relaxing this year. Blake slept in until 8. Evelyn was still sleeping, so we made our beignet and bacon breakfast and ate first. Once Evelyn woke up, went in to see what Santa had brought us. Blake was excited to put baby Jesus in the manger on our countdown.

Santa's Elf found an awesome sectional that was just a few months old on a yard sale site for a killer deal, so Santa arranged for it to be delivered a few days early. Needless to say, we had to rearrange our tree so it would fit. Brandon and I didn't ask for much, but Santa still left a few little surprises for us and brought some fun stuff for the kids. 

Blake and Evelyn were so darn cute this year! Evelyn really got into opening gifts and Blake was excited as could be with his Hot Wheels track and dump truck. 

We spent the afternoon at the Sundays. Grandma and Grandpa spoiled the kids with toys and a membership to the Tree House Museum. We are excited to use that!
