We try and do our FHE lesson on Sunday so we can do a family activity on Monday. So far, it works well for us and gives us more time for each part of family home evening. Our cute little town had an open house at the fire station on Monday night. It was just the perfect FHE activity. We all loved the pizza and doughnuts and the children especially loved their little fireman hats they got. Plus, they just looked so cute in them.
