The Most Festive Time of the Year

I love all holidays, but the Christmas season is hands down the most festive time of the year. When else do you see stores, streets, homes, workplaces and sometimes even cars all dazzled up for the holidays?

I simply can’t get enough of it.

I walked into work and to my delight, saw nearly 50 big, bold red poinsettias scattered throughout the foyer and staircase. Evergreen garland was draped over the railing, too. I think work suddenly got 100 times more exciting simply because of the cheery decorations.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on the home front, too.

Our tree is up. Lights are strung. Stockings are hung. Kenny G is playing. We are ready for the Christmas season. Bring it on!

My favorite decorations this year are the new nativities we have added to our collection. One is from Palestine (thanks to the in-laws) and the other from Arbot Street in Moscow.
