My dad called us on Thursday to ask our weekend plans. We surprisingly didn't have any for Friday night, so we threw our camping gear in the car and headed up to Anderson Cove for the night. Given that it was Blake's first time in a real campground, I'd say he did pretty well. His hands got a little cold and he was teething so we ended up bringing him in our sleeping bag midway through the night. But it was good enough that we'll take him again...but next summer that is.
Tin foil dinners, campfire treats, skipping rocks, and a short hike through the leaves (which mesmerized Blake completely) made our first/last real camping trip of the year a success!
