twenty. nine.

Brandon's birthday was low key this year, but just what he ordered. We really liked that he worked from home that day so we could see him throughout the day.

We started out with his favorite breakfast: blueberry muffins and Simply Orange orange juice. We only buy that on special occasions so it was a great treat.

It's tradition to go kite-flying on his birthday and this year he got a new one. Thanks Costco! It's just too bad that the wind subsided by the time we went to the park, so he didn't get to do it long. We'll have to go back.

To Blake's delight, that meant we got to spend more time on the playground. This has become one of his favorite things lately. We almost go every day to this park.

When I asked him what we wanted for his dinner, he came up with the idea to do sliders -- mini hamburgers since he can never decide which one to get at a restaurant because he loves all the varieties. I hope he chooses this every year because it was delicious.

We ended the day with strawberry shortcake and Shark Tank, our favorite show. I'm so glad I married him. He makes life fun. He is good at helping out around the house. He always has energy to play with our children. He is a good provider and loves the gospel and missionary work. I don't know why it took me so long to figure out I should marry him. All I can say is I'm glad he stuck around for me.
