more 4th of july fun

We stayed cool in the afternoon with cousins, festive drinks, a slip n'slide, whip cream fights, and the kiddie pool.

One of my favorite traditions is the neighborhood talent show our neighbors from home put on every year. Blake wanted to sing "Elmo's song" so Elmo's song it was. I was so proud of him for being brave enough to get up there and sing.

We watched Kaysville's fireworks. Blake hated them (I think it didn't help he was so tired) and Evelyn just calmly watched them.

Whew. It was an exhausting day, but a day of non.stop. partying. That is what the 4th of July is all about! God Bless America! Land that we love.
