While the fair was in town, took Blake and Evelyn to ride the ponies. It was such a hot night that we didn't last much longer than that. In fact, we turned down the fair food (except a frozen lemonade) because of the heat. Blake really loved riding the horses this year and insisted on not having any help. Evelyn liked it at the beginning, but soon her face turned to a sad one. There's always next year!
